Welcome to Sumanlata Foundation (sumanlatafoundation.org). These Terms & Conditions (“Terms”) govern your use of our website and any donations made through it. By accessing the website or making a donation, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use our services.
1. Eligibility
You must be at least 18 years old or donating through a legal guardian/parent.
Donations are open to residents of India only.
By donating, you confirm you are not restricted by any law from making charitable contributions.
2. Donation Process
All donations are processed securely via Razorpay payment gateway.
Select donation amount, provide required details (name, email, phone, optional address), and complete payment.
Upon successful payment, you will receive a confirmation email with Transaction ID and 80G receipt (if applicable).
Donations are considered complete once Razorpay confirms successful payment transfer to our bank account.
3. Non-Refundable Nature
Donations are voluntary charitable contributions and are non-refundable under normal circumstances.
Funds are immediately allocated to child education programs in Varanasi (books, school fees, uniforms, educational supplies).
Exceptions only apply in cases of payment failure, duplicate transactions, or technical errors (see Refund Policy for details).
4. Usage of Funds
100% of your donation (after payment gateway charges) supports Sumanlata Foundation’s mission: providing quality education to underprivileged children in Varanasi.
Specific uses include school fees, learning materials, teacher salaries for after-school programs, and educational infrastructure.
We maintain full transparency and publish annual impact reports on our website.
5. Donor Information Accuracy
You are responsible for providing accurate and complete information during donation.
Incorrect or fraudulent details may result in donation cancellation and reporting to authorities.
We reserve the right to verify donor identity for large donations (> ₹10,000).
6. Intellectual Property
All content on sumanlatafoundation.org (text, images, logos) is owned by Sumanlata Foundation.
Personal use allowed; commercial use prohibited without written permission.
7. Website Usage Rules
No spamming, unauthorized scraping, or malicious activity allowed.
We may suspend access for users violating these Terms.
8. Limitation of Liability
Sumanlata Foundation is not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from website use or donations.
We strive for 99.9% uptime but cannot guarantee uninterrupted service.
9. Force Majeure
We are not liable for delays/failures due to events beyond our control (natural disasters, government actions, technical outages).
10. Governing Law & Jurisdiction
These Terms are governed by the laws of India.
Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of courts in Varanasi, Uttar Pradesh.
11. Changes to Terms
We may update these Terms periodically. Continued use after changes implies acceptance.
Major changes will be notified via email or website banner.
