Refund Policy – Sumanlata Foundation

Sumanlata Foundation promotes complete transparency in all donations received through sumanlatafoundation.org. This Refund Policy outlines the limited circumstances under which refunds may be processed. Please read carefully before donating.
1. General Policy: Non-Refundable Donations
All successful donations are voluntary charitable contributions and are non-refundable.
Once payment is confirmed by Razorpay and funds are transferred to our bank account, donations cannot be reversed.
Funds are immediately allocated to support child education programs in Varanasi (school fees, books, uniforms, educational materials).
2. Eligible Refund Cases
Refunds are processed only in the following exceptional circumstances:

3. Non-Eligible Cases (No Refund)
Change of mind or donor regret.
Donations already utilized for program expenses.
Incomplete donor information preventing verification.
Transactions older than specified timelines.
Cash donations or bank transfers (handled separately).
4. Refund Process
Submit Request: Email info@sumanlatafoundation.org with:
Full name and contact details
Transaction ID(s) from Razorpay email
Reason for refund + supporting documents
Original payment method details
Verification: We verify with Razorpay and our records (1-2 working days).
Approval/Rejection: You receive email confirmation with decision.
Processing: Approved refunds issued to original payment method only:
UPI: Instant to same UPI ID
Cards/Netbanking: 5-7 working days
No cash refunds or transfers to different accounts.
Gateway Charges: Razorpay’s 2% transaction fee is non-refundable.
